Are you between 15 and 30? Do you feel like you have things to say about Intercultural Dialogue in Europe? Are you part of a minority group - ethnic, linguistic, religious... - in your country or city? Do you like expressing yourself with video?

We are looking for the most original, creative and/or nuanced portrayal of cultural diversity in your country, city, town, school, street or family...

What intercultural dialogue and cultural diversity mean we want to leave up to you! You will be the ones showing diversity from different viewpoints.

Your clip can be a short film, video-art, documentary, musical clip, news item...

PRIZES:

 Xenoclipse First Prize: 1000 EUR
 Best original idea: 500 EUR
 Best production: 500 EUR
 Honourable mentions: 200 EUR each**

** The jury will consider awarding a number of clips for specific merits.

Up to 15 nominees will be contacted and invited to Barcelona for the international Award Event on November 21st and 22nd, 2008. (Travel and accommodation covered by the Xenoclipse consortium)

CONTEST RULES:
 Duration of the clip: maximum 3 minutes
 All clips must be subtitled in English if they contain text in a language other than English.
 All clips should be original work that has not been published elsewhere.
 All submitted clips will be displayed on the Xenoclipse website.
 Clips can be authored as a group, but only one person can submit it. It is this person, the ’poster’, whom the xenoclipse consortium will maintain correspondence with during and after the contest.

Conditions:
 By submitting this clip I grant the Xenoclipse consortium the right to publish it on its site and use it for dissemination reasons.
 I understand that the Xenoclipse consortium reserves the right to reject any clips containing offensive material or which is not in line with the objectives of the contest.
 I declare that the content of this clip is my own material or it is copy right free. The Xenoclipse consortium will not be held responsible in the case of any copyright claims. All such claims will be forwarded directly to the poster of the clip.
